Kung Fu Trees

Near the end of the Tang Dynasty, in the year 900 AD, there lived a group of martial artist monks in the northern mountains of China. After many bloody battles these revered masters of Kung Fu realized the futility of war and decided to lay down their swords and take up the spade. They became Asia's most feared botanists. It was said that the trees surrounding their monastery would come to life and snatch up would-be thieves and assassins, protecting their monk keepers. Thus the legend of the Kung Fu Trees was born. Adopting the philosophies of these legendary botanist monks, Pictou County's Kung Fu Trees produce their own brand of deeply rooted Maritime rock. Concentrating on a dual guitar assault with a solid rhythm section the Kung Fu Trees have been writing and performing in Nova Scotia for the last 3 years and are in pre-production on their debut CD.
